Our school's history dates back to 1969 when it was originally established under the name New York Taekwondo Academy by the Great Grandmaster Suh Chong Kang, 10th Dan Black Belt and the highest ranking Taekwondo instructor in the world.

BLACK BELT TEST RESULTS

On Sunday, May 17th, we held our semi-annual Black Belt test at our Tribeca location.

 78 junior students tested from 1st Dan Black Belt to 3rd Dan Black Belt.

60 of our adult students tested from 1st Dan Black Belt to 3rd Dan Black Belt.

Congratulations to Master Bill Ma who tested for his 7th Dan Black Belt, and to all our new and current black belts!

On Friday, April 10th 2009, Great Grandmaster Suh Chong Kang, one of the pioneers of Taekwondo was inducted into the Taekwondo Hall of Fame in Teaneck, NJ.
